Access requirements

    Single cycle Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (D.M. n. 270/04), with qualification to practice.
    Postgraduate Degree in Medicine and Surgery (ex D.M. n. 509/99), with qualification to practice the profession.
    Degree obtained according to the ante-reform regulations D.M. n. 509/99 equivalent to the above-mentioned class (as per the ministerial table in D.I. 9 July 2009: http://attiministeriali.miur.it/anno-2009/luglio/di-09072009.aspx), with qualification to practice.
    Master’s degree in Dentistry and Dentures.
    Master of Health Professions.
    Equivalent qualification issued abroad, recognized as suitable according to current legislation, by the Executive Committee for the sole purpose of enrolling in the Course, with qualification to practice the profession.

Other second-level degrees, evaluated by the Commission, based on documented clinical risk experience.

Methods of implementation
The educational activities will be provided safeguarding the training contents and the needs of the participants; in presence and/or with synchronous and asynchronous remote teaching tools, in order to guarantee the same possibilities
Educational content

The training contents aim at: (a) developing the process of participation of professionals in the construction and development of a risk management model through training inputs, valorisation of experiences and skills, stimulation of planning; (b) produce learning methodologies from experience, disseminating innovations and feeding the training process, also with project work activities and the highlighting of regional and non-regional excellence; (c) maximizing and defining the meaning of the patient's centrality and his decision-making role in conscious terms; (d) build pathways, methodologies, indicators on "risk and safety in Healthcare Trusts".

Professional profile

The Master intends to develop professional skills aimed at carrying out Risk Manager activities. At the end of the course the learner will be able to: design, organize and coordinate program plans on the safety of care; analyze data relating to clinical risk in the epidemiological dimensions, professional-organisational-systemic determinants; promote organizational communication and professional integration; draw up reports and documentation to support risk management activities; interact with the stakeholders and the services involved from a system point of view.
